This is THE one I take every morning I should call it ELDERCARE!  This blend of Lions Mane & Turkey Tail works on cognitive skills as well as the gut.  As my generation gets older we start losing cognitive skills and most of us never heard of gut health till recent times.  I tried Prevegen, it didn't work for me!  THE BLEND, has twice the Beta Glucans of similar products due to my unique extraction process, and I'm confident it is the best product out there.

Cognitive health as people age, they may experience some cognitive changes, including: Slower processing: Older adults may have a slower reaction time, take longer to answer the phone, or have trouble recognizing when the phone is ringing. Memory issues: Older adults may have trouble remembering names or finding words, or they may forget what they ate for dinner. Multitasking issues: Older adults may have problems multitasking. Attention issues: Older adults may have a slight decrease in their ability to pay attention. Auditory changes: After age 30, auditory acuity may decline, which can affect processing speed and sensory perception. These changes are often a normal part of aging, but more serious memory problems could be a sign of other issues. For example, mild cognitive impairment, dementia, or other factors could cause more serious memory problems. However, some people, known as cognitive super agers, defy the expectation of cognitive decline and remain cognitively sharp into their 80s and 90s. Researchers are studying these people to learn more about what makes them different and how to help others prevent or reverse age-related cognitive decline.

Gut Health can change as people age, which can lead to a variety of digestive issues:

  • Decreased digestive secretions

The production of digestive secretions decreases with age, making digestion less efficient.

  • Changes in gut microbiome

The gut microbiome changes with age, leading to an imbalance in the gut microbiota. This imbalance can impact digestive health, immune function, and mental health.

  • Decreased intestinal barrier function

The intestinal barrier function deteriorates with age, which can lead to an increased rate of gastrointestinal infections.

  • Increased inflammation

Low-grade inflammation is often higher in older adults, and is linked to an abnormal gut microbiome and dysfunctional gut permeability.

  • Digestive issues

Some common digestive issues that can occur in older people include:
    • Constipation: A common complaint among older adults, constipation can be caused by a lack of fiber, dehydration, or lesser physical activity.
    • GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease): Also known as acid reflux, this is the most common upper GI disorder in older adults.
    • Diverticulitis: A relatively common digestive disease that occurs when pouches form in the side of the intestine.
    • Peptic ulcer disease: Older people are more prone to peptic ulcer disease because of the intake of non steroidal and anti inflammatory drugs.

A healthy lifestyle can help improve gut health. This includes eating a diet rich in fiber, fruits, vegetables, and fermented foods, and avoiding diets high in sugar, processed foods, and saturated fats.
